Can I cancel a top-up once it has been completed?

No. There is no way to cancel a top-up once it is complete and there will be no refunds.

If there is an issue with the Top-Up being received we will work with you to try and resolve the issue.

Can I Top-Up my cell if the carrier is not listed?

No, you will not be able to. Check back from time to time as we are always adding new carriers.

Can I Top-Up other people’s cell phones?

Yes, you can Top-Up any phone numbers as you want providing the country and carrier is listed on our site.

Does the user receive the full amount of the Top-Up purchased?

In some cases the provider may withhold Taxes and/or Service Fees which will cause the amount of Top-Up received by the user to be less than what was ordered.

How can I redeem Points?

After you have earned a minimum of 500 points from online Top-Ups with UONMobi.com you can then start redeeming them for future purchases of Top-Ups.

Your available points will be visible during checkout for you to redeem if they have met the minimum requirements.

How do I create an account?

Click “Register” in the top right corner of the site and fill out the registration form.

How does it work?

You can send mobile Top-Ups in a few steps to anyone, anywhere in the world in less than 2 minutes providing the carrier and country are listed on our site.

  1. Select the Country of the Phone to Top-Up
  2. Select the Phone Operator/Carrier
  3. If the recipient is on a Canadian carrier, select the Province they are from.
  4. Enter the Recipient’s Phone Number
  5. Click on Go
  6. Select amount to send as Top-Up, and Enter Payment information.

The recipient will receive an SMS message immediately with instructions on how to apply the Top-Up.

How is Top-Up added to my phone?

In most cases you will received the top-up directly and will receive a confirmation message.

In other cases the top-up may come in the form of a Voucher PIN. In this case a message from the provider will be received with the PIN Code. Follow the provider’s instructions to access the code.

How much does it cost?

Each carrier may have different denominations to select from. Choose the denomination amount you want to add, and we will add those funds to the phone. Before you pay, you will be told the total amount that is due for the top-up you are sending and also details of any other charges. These charges may include ones from our bank, the card companies and our secure online payment processing company.

How soon are Top-Up minutes applied to my phone?

Top-Up time depends on the carrier. It may take 5-30 minutes because some carriers operate differently. The recipient’s phone will receive an SMS text message notifying them that the phone has been recharged. Initial orders may take a few extra minutes as the account may have to be verified.

Receipt Breakdown?

On your receipt the following items may be present;

  • Top-Up Amount
  • Discount
  • Fees
  • Taxes

If the Tax amount is not shown then it is either not charged or it is included in the USD amount since the currency used on checkout is USD.

For Canadian customers a 13% HST tax is included on all Top-Ups in the USD amount seen on checkout.

What are Points?

Points are credits you earn while purchasing Top-Ups. You will earn 1 Point for each USD$1.00 spent on Top-Ups.

What are the payment options?

Online you can pay by PayPal or any credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Etc.

Offline at our resellers you can pay by Cash, and also by Visa, and MasterCard at selected resellers.

What Countries can I Top-Up my phone from?

View our full list of countries on our TopUp page. We are always adding new countries to our Top-Up service. If your country is not listed, check back from time to time, or email us to inquire.

What is the value of my Points?

1 Point is earned for each US$1.00 spent on Top-Ups.
The value of 1 point is US$0.01 when redeeming for Top-Ups.

Why am I being charged a Service Fee?

The service fee refers to the cost of providing the Top-Up service to our customers.

Why do I have to agree to your terms & conditions?

This is part of our policy to protect all our customer’s privacy and security concerns.

Why set QTY to 1 after selecting a Top-Up value

This is because some carriers do not permit multiple top-ups to the same number within a short period of time.

Gift Certificate Terms & Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions are between you, the recipient of Gift Certificate, and UONMOBI who has issues and redeems this Gift Certificate (“Merchant”). By accepting and using this Gift Certificate, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Redeeming Gift Certificates

  • In order to redeem your Gift Certificate you must have a UONMOBI account. You must create a UONMOBI account HERE or at the time of redemption.
  • Your Gift Certificate can be redeemed for Points on Merchant’s website.
  • Your Gift Certificate can be redeemed for Cash at participating Merchant’s Resellers.
  • Only the Recipient whose name is on the Gift Certificate can redeem it for cash.
  • To redeem the value associated with your Gift Certificate for points, you will be required to login and provide your Gift Certificate code on Merchant’s website.
  • To redeem the value associated with your Gift Certificate for cash, you will be required to provide your Gift Certificate code and proof of identity to a participating Merchant’s Reseller.
  • You cannot redeem Gift Certificate at any merchant other than a participating Merchant’s Reseller.
  • You cannot redeem Gift Certificate at Merchant’s in-person store – you can only redeem it on the Merchant’s website or at participating Merchant’s Resellers.
  • Once redeemed the Gift Certificate is cancelled.
  • For security purposes, you may be required to enter credit card, bank account information, or proof of identity before you can redeem the Gift Certificate.

Cancellation / Non-Expiration of Gift Certificates / No Fees

  • No fees will be charged in connection with your Gift Certificate when purchased
  • Recipient Cancellations: Recipients cannot cancel their Gift Certificate.
  • Purchaser Cancellations: The purchaser cannot cancel their Gift Certificate.
  • Merchant Cancellations: Gift Certificates are issued by the Merchant indicated. The Merchant may cancel a Gift Certificate at any time for any reason and shall refund any unused Gift Certificate value to purchaser, provided the Gift Certificate has not been redeemed.
  • Refunds:
    • Refunds on Gift Certificates that were purchased using a credit/debit card, or PayPal account will have the face value credited to that credit/debit card or PayPal account.
    • Refunds on Gift Certificates that were purchased at a participating Merchant’s Reseller will have the face value refunded to them in cash by the participating Merchant’s Reseller.
  • Expiration: Merchant Gift Certificates do not expire.

Sending/Receiving Gift Certificates

  • Email Delivery: Gift Certificates will be delivered to the recipient’s email address.
  • Privacy Policy: If you are a Gift Certificate recipient and you are not a Merchant member, Merchant will not use your email address for any purpose other than to send notifications to you regarding your Gift Certificate. This includes any reminders. For details on UONMOBI’s privacy policy, see uonmobi.com/privacy.

Customer Service

  • Please contact the Merchant if you have any questions or issues in connection with your Gift Certificate

Additional Terms

  • A Recipient can transfer their Gift Certificate to another person for the purpose of redeeming it for Points only.
  • You may use more than one Gift Certificate at a time.
  • Your Gift Certificates cannot be used to purchase other Merchant Gift Certificates.
  • Neither Merchant nor participating Merchant’s Reseller(s) is responsible for lost, stolen, or misused Gift Certificate codes unless otherwise required by law.
  • Purchase and redemption of Merchant Gift Certificates is subject to the Merchant User Agreement which is incorporated herein.
How to Buy a Gift Certificate?

The gift certificate can be purchased online or from a UONMOBI Reseller.

  • Select a denomination
  • Enter the Recipient’s details, including name, email, and mobile phone number
  • Enter the Sender’s details, including name, email, and an SMS message. The SMS message is optional.
  • Click on Proceed and follow the prompts to checkout.


 

 

How to Redeem a Gift Certificate?

The gift certificate can be redeemed online or from a UONMOBI Reseller. The person redeeming the gift certificate must be logged in to their UONMOBI account.

  • Enter the Gift Certificate number
  • Click on the “tick” button to the right of the number
  • The logged in user will be credited points when they redeem the gift certificate.
  • They can then redeem the points for free Top-Up.


ErrorCodes

Destination account is not prepaid or not valid(204)

Transaction refused by the operator because the recipient phone number is not a valid prepaid account.

Duplicated transaction(213)

Transaction refused because it was submitted too closely after a preceding Top-up attempt or it was still under process when the next transfer to the same number was sent.

Recipient reached maximum topup amount(231)

This error is returned when a recipient reaches the maximum amount (in USD) of Top-up allowable in a certain gap of time.
